Warning: Website misusing the name and details of genuine firms Brown Holliday & Clements Ltd and Streathers Highgate LLP

A website at 'www.brownhollidayclements.com' is operating and misusing the name and details of two genuine firms of solicitors, two genuine solicitors and other employees of the genuine firms (see below).
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen a website at 'www.brownhollidayclements.com' that is operating and misusing the name and details of genuine firms of solicitors and genuine solicitors (see genuine details below).
The website seen by the SRA misuses the name of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below). The 'Contact Us' page misuses the head office address of the genuine firm (see below). The 'About Us' page on the website also misuses the name of a genuine SRA authorised and regulated solicitor who is employed at the genuine firm (see details below).
The website further misuses the SRA's logo to verify the website, however, when the link is accessed, the following message is given 'Website verification failed'.
The website further appears to copy the layout and structure of the genuine website of a separate SRA authorised and regulated firm of solicitors (details below). The SRA has seen a page on the website purporting that 'Brown Holliday & Clements Expands with New Office in Angel, Islington' which replicates a similar announcement made by the second genuine firm (see below). This page further misuses the name of a genuine SRA authorised and regulated solicitor, as well as the names and details of other employees at the second genuine firm.
The website also gives the email address 'info@brownhollidayclements.com' and also gives a genuine phone number for an employee of the second genuine firm (further details below).
Any business or transaction through the above website www.brownhollidayclements.com' or email address 'info@brownhollidayclements.com' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Brown Holliday & Clements Limited. The genuine head office for the firm is 50 Howard Street, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE30 1PD. The genuine firm has confirmed that they do not have a website.
The SRA also authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Streathers Highgate LLP. The genuine firm's website is 'www.streathers.co.uk' and the genuine address for the firm's Islington office is 80 Islington High Street, London, N1 8EQ.
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called David Robert Keem, who is employed by the genuine firm Brown Holliday & Clements Limited.
The SRA also authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Gabriel Grant, who is employed by the genuine firm Streathers Highgate LLP.
The genuine firm Streathers Highgate LLP also employs an individual called Nicky Lloyd as Chief Operating Officer of the North London offices. It also employs an individual from the Baker Street office called Sue Garnish who is the HR Manager of the genuine firm, and whose genuine contact number is '020 7034 4253'.
The genuine firms of solicitors, the genuine solicitors and the genuine employees named above have confirmed that they have no genuine connection to the website referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
