Supervision for small firms
18 November 2019
We are committed to helping small firms and sole practitioners comply with our rules in a way that is right for their size. We want to find ways to make complying easier and offer real help whenever we can.
Help for your small firm
This service is for firms that have four partners or fewer and/or an annual turnover of less than £400,000. If your firm is slightly larger than this, please feel free to contact us to see if we can help you.
We have a committed team of investigation officers who can help small firms, providing practical solutions to regulatory issues, whether it be during the early stages of running a firm, matters that crop up in practice or about orderly closure of a firm. Our dedicated support takes into account the needs of the individual small firms that contact us.
There is an option for you to use this service on a confidential and/or anonymous basis, and you will receive a call back from one of our investigation officers within three working days. Simply fill in the form below with your contact details, briefly say what you need help with, and let us know whether you want us to handle the matter on a confidential and/or anonymous basis.
Staff in other parts of the SRA may be better able to help you. More contact options
The help we offer will be based on the facts you present. You should not treat our support and assistance as a formal ruling on the matter in hand; and it will not be binding on solicitors, their clients, the SRA, the Legal Ombudsman or the court.
