A letter has been sent to a member of the public misusing the name of David Adams and the details of Peter Clarke Solicitors LLP, regarding an 'unclaimed Payable on Death account'.

What is the scam?

A letter has been sent misusing the solicitor name David Adams and the details of Peter Clarke Solicitors LLP, regarding an 'unclaimed Payable on Death account' with a sum of 'eleven million five hundred pounds'.

The letter provides a telephone number of '+447879312799', a FAX number of '441389468095', a website at 'www.clarkellpuk.com', an email address of 'info@clarkellpuk.com' and an address at 63 Commercial Road, Totton, Southampton, SO403AH.

The letter purports to be sent from David Adams and requests contact via the following email addresses: 'davidadamsesq@gmail.com' and 'David@clarkellpuk.com'.

Any business or transaction through the telephone number '+447879312799', the FAX number '441389468095', the website 'www.clarkellpuk.com' or email addresses 'info@clarkellpuk.com' 'davidadamsesq@gmail.com' and 'David@clarkellpuk.com' are not undertaken by any individual or firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
