Warning: Correspondence and telephone calls misusing the names of Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP, Jeremy Kutner, Vanessa Blackmore and Nikolas Andronikos

Correspondence and telephone calls have been sent or made fraudulently using the names of Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP and Jeremy Kutner, Vanessa Blackmore, and Nikolas Andronikos.
What is the scam?
The SRA has received reports of telephone calls and emails being made and sent to members of the public, falsely claiming to be from Vanessa Blackmore, Jeremy Kutner, and Nikolas Andronikos of Sullivan & Cromwell.
Vanessa Blackmore
Emails were sent from vanessa.blackmore@sullcirom.onmicrosoft.com falsely claiming to be from Ms. Blackmore, initially requesting payment and attaching a fraudulent invoice.
The invoice instructed payment be made to an account held by Sidhu Consulting Limited at NatWest Bank Plc. A follow-up email was sent chasing payment.
Jeremy Kutner
Members of the public received telephone calls and emails falsely claiming to be from Mr. Kutner, stating that an NDA must be signed and funds subsequently transferred for a potential acquisition.
In addition to the individual falsely claiming to be Mr Kutner, it was reported that at least one of the telephone calls may have also featured an AI-generated voice familiar to the recipient, instructing him to transfer funds as directed. At least one of the calls originated from the number 0208 040 4518 and the email attaching the NDA was sent from dse_NA4@docusign.net.
Nikolas Andronikos
An email was sent falsely claiming to be from Mr. Andronikos requesting payment and attaching a fraudulent invoice.
Any business or transactions through email addresses vanessa.blackmore@sullcirom.onmicrosoft.com or dse_NA4@docusign.net are not associated with or undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Any telephone calls made from 0208 040 4518 are not associated with or undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP, Vanessa Blackmore, Jeremy Kutner and Nikolas Andronikos have confirmed they do not have any connection to the emails, invoices, individual, bank, or telephone calls referred to in the above alert.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP (SRA ID: 308712). The SRA also authorises and regulates genuine solicitors Jeremy Kutner (SRA ID: 296042) and Vanessa Blackmore (SRA ID: 141737). Nikolas Andronikos (SRA ID: 499404) is a Registered Foreign Lawyer.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.

Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP
Emails continue to be sent claiming to be from Sullivan & Cromwell MNP LLP.
The SRA has been notified of another fraudulent email sent to a member of the public, falsely claiming to be from Sullivan & Cromwell. The email alleges that Sullivan & Cromwell is acting on behalf of a client who claims to be the rightful owner of intellectual property rights related to audio and video entertainment content posted by the recipient on a social media platform. The email claims that the recipient is involved in serious copyright infringement activities and requests that they download evidence by clicking on a link, which is suspected to contain malware.
The email was sent from and details the email address info@sullcrom.com. The email provided a contact number of +1 212 558 4000 and a postal address of 18 Cumberland Street, Leeds. Neither the email or postal address is associated to Sullivan & Cromwell. However, the contact number provided +1 212 558 4000 is the main contact number of Sullivan & Cromwell's office in New York.
