This notification relates to a decision to bring proceedings before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations involving:-
- Whether there has been a failure to provide bills of costs to clients before deducting fees from the client account on matters relating to the administration of estates between 2015 and 2020;
- Whether any invoices were improperly raised on client matters relating to the administration of estates between 2012 and 2020;
- Whether Ms Rowe failed to obtain Accountants’ Reports for her firm for any years between 2015 and 2021; and
- Whether inaccurate or misleading entries were made in client ledgers between 2016 and 2021.
- The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
